River Restoration
Wet Land is experienced in the design and construction for river restoration and river morphology projects. We are familiar with the processes and techniques used in hydrology, floodplain analysis, habitat, sediment transport, scour analysis, and river modeling. Because of our understanding of these design criteria, our construction methods are superior and we are able to create a more seamless river corridor that is integrated with the surrounding natural environment. In the process we help to restore the historic channel of the river, promote river conservation, reduce or eliminate braiding, increase food sources for fish and wildlife habitat, and provide more effective sediment transport.
