Wet Land designs and builds lakes throughout Colorado, the United States, and abroad. It is the foundation of our company and is built on years of experience. We build lakes for public and private clients and the projects we are involved in have a wide range of functions. Our projects range from lakes designed and built for geothermal energy to lakes for sport fishing.
Our projects have included large and small scale lake construction, irrigation lakes, snow making reservoirs, fishing ponds, river restorations, fishable man-made streams, and water conveyance ditches. Within these projects, we have specific experience in bank stabilization, aeration, seepage control, liner installation, shoreline rehabilitation, organics removal, fish habitat implementation, and water quality enhancement.
Lake construction is much more than hiring an earth moving contractor, digging a hole and filling it with water.
